“Genocide lawsuit against Berisha”
The opposition is gathering documents: the file of accusations is being prepared
“The facts recently uncovered about arming the PD, the plan to crush the revolt in the South are his work”
A harsh decision at the Forum table: “We can also take our denunciation to The Hague”
TIRANA - The opposition is preparing to sue Berisha. A bulky file and several projects have already been assembled, and soon the Forum parties will meet to make a final decision. Berisha’s name and the file with a series of serious accusations will perhaps be taken to The Hague court for genocide. “We can send it there too, since what has happened in the country in recent months and has been directed by Berisha constitutes crimes,” declared Social Democrat leader Skënder Gjinushi, since Albanian courts are considered very untrustworthy by the representatives of the Forum parties. But even though formally this lawsuit seems that it will also go through the Albanian Prosecutor’s Office and will be presented to the People’s Assembly.

The Alba mission and the questions about order
From VLORA
STAVRI MARKO
What is the real mission of the multinational military forces in Albania? Distributing humanitarian aid while protecting it themselves, or restoring the main circulation routes? Cooperation with the local governing authorities for the future? Or some other purpose that has not yet been declared?
The official purpose of the action of the foreign Euro-forces in Albania is set out in a special regulation, with which everyone has now become familiar. Nevertheless, many questions still swirl around people’s heads, especially since, as was heard in the city and among bandits in Vlora - the first multinational force in a tragic way. While the trushootet qande has enough for Albania with serious acts and emergency, and in function of this task its mission can do anything. Until today, the opposite has been happening.
Vlora again remains at the top of the sharpest problems. It has been three months now that here, this martyred city, functions only thanks to the courage of its traders and citizens. In Vlora too, after many questions, the forces of “Alba” arrived. Their arrival was seen by a large part of the ordinary population as a ray of hope, which would help restore calm and the normal order of life. On the surface, at least until today, this has remained unfulfilled.
Over 340 heavy meters, for 900 soldiers and some of the most modern technology of our time. This is the sight that columns see every day where the soldiers of “Alba” are stationed. But foreign soldiers with the army are much more engaged in protecting themselves than others. There was a flagrantly verified push that had gone past. An Italian and an Albanian, who had thrown themselves to death, knocked for a long time at the entrance of the mission until they received the laconic reply: “We’re sorry, we have no orders to intervene in these matters.” The incident ended tragically; a 35-year-old lost his life in an extremely tragic way, leaving it with great sadness and outrage. Of course, the foreign military stationed in Vlora, in this case, had no reason to be blamed. They were only following the clear order from the famous regulation, which they held dear; had they moved beyond their own confusion, Vlora would today still have one of its citizens alive.
General Giglio himself - commander of the troops in Vlora - agreed to speak about the painful incident. “I am not authorized, with the mandate I have,” he said, “to go to the aid of citizens in protecting life from various wrongdoers. That is the responsibility of the Police.” But if the local Police fail to carry out this duty, who will protect the citizens, we insisted. “It is not my fault,” Giglio immediately replied, “within the mandate the forces I command will intervene only if orders come from the operations headquarters are bypassed. Since the situation may change if the local authorities request the multinational force to intervene and in these cases...” Once again we arrive at the old problem: who is sufficiently responsible for the situation, having left the mandate, the command of the ‘Alba’ force? Wouldn’t it be better, instead of preparing to distribute flour and chicken meat, for the foreign soldiers to engage also in the hottest points of public order? Otherwise, we ask for aid too, which will soon be sent, to be eaten up by greed and a few hyenas.

Leka: “The shortcomings of politics today”
INTERVIEW
TIRANA - Even before, but also today, something has been lost from the national life of politicians. This needs to be repaired. With the United Right many things were fixed, but there is still a lot to talk about. Soon I will also meet with Pato Nano... “His Highness” speaks from his office in Tirana about the failures of the old and the mistakes of the young. In the presence of Mulosmani, his old minister, he explains how he understands politics and what he aims for.

ELBASAN - Even bulletproof material is not safe against Kalashnikov fire. This time the bad luck was reserved for a working animal - a donkey - that a group of young people riddled with bullets. They had put the “miracle” vest on the poor animal and wanted to test the protection it offered, but they were disappointed. The bullets went straight through the vest.
The test in question had been carried out by a group of young people from Gramsh two days earlier. It is not known where they found the bulletproof vest, and even the house soldier and rescuer did not have such equipment, but they rushed to test it immediately. They put it on a donkey and then turned the animal into a shooting target. As a result of the barbarity, the donkey fell to the ground and died instantly. The curious young men then had to face the animal owner’s anger. But neither their vehicle nor their minimal lesson in vocabulary convinced the villager, who left. The young people compensated him with the value of one thousand lek.

School, bells and fear
Parents accompany the children
TIRANA - Along with the joy of the first lesson hour, fear among the children of the capital’s schools also subsided. From the morning, there were as many parents as pupils near the schools. Lessons resumed yesterday in almost all the capital’s schools and secondary schools, where attendance was around 50-60 percent. Strict police measures to guard them were in place, while the teachers themselves had also disciplined their own regulations, including checks of pupils entering the classroom, so that they would not bring in objects that could endanger their own lives and those of their classmates. Meanwhile, the faculties also opened yesterday, but the small number of students made the start of lecture sessions almost impossible.
